Michael O'Toole (1963-2018)

Michael O’Toole was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1963. His interest in art began with drawing at an early age and painting has now become his “all consuming passion”.

Michael studied architectural design at BCIT and pursued a career in architectural illustration, living for a short time in Toronto, before choosing to devote his time fully to his art.

He paints in a variety of media including watercolours and acrylics. His work appears in major, private and corporate collections, and he has had many successful shows in Vancouver, Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island.

Michael O’Toole est né à Vancouver en 1963. Sa curiosité pour l’art a débuté à l’enfance avec le dessin et s’est dévelopée en ce qui deviendrait la passion de sa vie.

Michael a étudié le design architectural à BCIT et a poursuivi une carriére en illustration architecturale. Il a vécu à Toronto pour quelque temps, avant de se consacré à son art à temps plein.

Il habite White Rock, où il peint à l’aide de médias divers incluant aquarelles et acriliques. On retrouve ses oeuvres dans plusieurs collections privées et corporatives et il a exposé avec succès à Vancouver, l’Île de Vancouver, et Salt Spring Island.
